Pojawiła się nowa wersja sterowników na bazie 1800 - dodano tu podpisy cyfrowe whql

From what it seems, with the first available 1800 drivers, Asus/Cmedia decided to sign drivers for a specific card only(which is DSX), this means normally you wont be able to install 1800 drivers on Win Vista/7/8 x64 OS with any other card. I guess with this move they are trying to prevent/limit the use of UNi Xonar drivers.

Luckily the method I previously implemented with 1.50 driver with testmode certificate will work just fine. So for Win Vista/7/8 x64 you need to have enabled test mode in order for these latest drivers to work (how to and info here).

Note that with this release there are no changes regarding compatibility of Audio Control Panels (Asus or Cmedia) with Windows 8.

Update: Regarding installing these drivers without enabling test mode on win7 x64. For the majority of you this won’t work (some info here) , if you wish to try it its better to uncheck “Digital signature bypass” in the UNi installer.
