Dziś na rumuńskim blogu FaraVirusi opublikowano test 14 aplikacji do zabezpieczenia platformy Android. Programy testowano na 181 zagrożeniach z całej liczby ok. 600 wykrywanych obecnie. Poniżej fragment w wersji angielskiej z wynikami wykrywalności

At the moment there are about 600 viruses for the Android platform. The number of smartphone users with this operating system is growing and the interest is identical among the creators of malware.
Therefore, we decided to test 14 security products for Android in terms of malware detection. We’ve chosen the Android Market available products: those provided free or having a free trial.

We used a set of 181 infected applications (. APK) from July-October.

Here are the results of detection:

• Zoner – 163 (90.05%)

• BitDefender* – 124 (68.50%)
• BullGuard* – 119 (65.74%)
• NetQin – 116 (64.08%)
• Webroot – 115 (63.53%)
• Trend Micro – 100 (55.24%)
• McAfee* – 53 (29.28%)
• BlackBelt* – 41 (22.65%)
